When doing art, what is most important when deciding which skills to develop?
Is it more important to do art revolving around subjects you find interesting, revolving around a certain area that not many people have ventured into, or revolving around something not necessarily what you find interesting but something you can excel with?
I know this is kind of a stupid question because art means different things to different people I'm just looking for different opinions to gain personal insight and inspiration. Thanks.
