Why does my kitty cat paw and act like she is milking me?
She moves her paws up and down in a motion like she is milking or nursing. Is something wrong with her? Overall she is a very happy kitty. BTW she is a new kitty from the pound. About 6 year old female. Her name is Suzie.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with your cat, tons of cats do this. It's called kneading. Ever see a litter of kittens nursing? They knead the mother's belly to stimulate the milk to flow. So when an adult cat does this (by the way, my 1 year old cat does this all the time!) it means she's happy! Cats may knead toys, blankets, or you. It's just their way of saying they're a very happy kitty
